Barry MacLean Inducted Into Fastener Hall of Fame

On October 12th 2007, I had the pleasure of introducing Barry MacLean for his induction into the National Industrial Fastener Show Hall of Fame. I cannot tell you what a thrill it was to share with the audience the accolades of Barry's career. I also know it was a thrill for Barry to follow in his father's footsteps as his father, John A. MacLean Jr., was inducted into the same Hall of Fame on May 2,1983 in Columbus, Ohio.

Barry was recognized for his leadership and contributions both in the fastener industry and to the greater community. Barry's generosity, compassion and sense of civic and family responsibility are evident from the countless hours he gives to philanthropic organizations, his civic duties as mayor, his responsibilities as the CEO of MacLean-Fogg, and obligations as a grandfather, parent, and spouse. His contributions can be found everywhere!
