MVS–Royal Oak Receives Excellence Award
In June 2006, Ben Ancona, Director, Operations and Larry Wilson, Director, Engineering received congratulations from Sandy Maruyama, Staff Specialist, Indirect Materials – Purchasing, NUMMI (New United Motor Manufacturing, Inc.). MVS–Royal Oak was recognized for excellence for consistently providing cost, quality, and 100% delivery rating. These attributes were a result of their hard work, their support of low ppm, their dedication to being a valued supplier for 12 years, and their commitment to providing quality parts for the Toyota Corolla, Toyota Tacoma, and Pontiac Vibe.

New United Motor Manufacturing (NUMMI)
NUMMI is the pioneering joint venture of General Motors Corporation and Toyota Motor Corporation. Established in Fremont, California, in 1984, NUMMI helped change the automobile industry by introducing the Toyota Production System and a teamwork-based working environment to the United States.
